About Meemu Atoll

Meemu Atoll is located to the south of Maldives's capital Male. Measuring 47 kms in length and 30 kms in width, the Meemu Atoll comprises of about 35 islands. Out of these islands, only 9 islands are inhabited with the population crossing 5,000. Most of the inhabited islands are located on the eastern side of the atoll
